…where the tree tops glisten.
I just woke up from a dream where I found out my closet was bigger. It was awesome.
During the dream I also had a strong urge to clean a basement.

Kathleen Magowan lived a frugal life with her twin brother, Robert, in the classic New England town of Simsbury, Conn., until she died in 2011 at age 87, remembered mainly for the 35 years she was a first-grade teacher in the local elementary schools.
But now the town of 23,000 people is buzzing with the news that Magowan had a secret. A big one.

Small joy #7
Sipping coffee real slow on a day off (first of seven days off).

This is by far the coolest classroom equipment I have ever encountered. It also helps me trick my kids into thinking blending letters is awesome. (Side note: in reality, blending letters is awesome…building blocks of reading.) it also makes me wonder how many things I engaged in as a kid that really were pretty lame things…disguised with lights and shiny things.
Simple joy #5
Leaving work before the sun goes down.
